Job Description:
Functions as an Academic Instructor in a classroom setting, providing instruction in skills necessary to master academic competencies. Provide instruction, administers test and evaluates progress in reading, writing, social studies, science, and mathematics understanding and proficiency. Provides remedial materials and instruction when required.
Experience Required:
A Bachelor Degree in Education and two years of teaching experience preferably at the secondary level. Concentration in Secondary or Adult Education is preferred. Advance degree highly desirable. Experience with at risk or culturally deprived youth is highly preferred. A State of Louisiana Teacher's Certification is required.
